Historical IPO review | Reviewed 5 November 2026. This page covers a completed 2025 offering, not a currently open IPO. Its original Blogger address previously appeared in Google Search Console. The archival information is being reconstructed from publicly available records, not copied from an unavailable original article.
December 2025 featured public offerings from very different sectors: healthcare services, pharmaceutical formulations and asset management. This retrospective compares three of the month’s notable IPOs using actual issue terms and reported listing opening prices, rather than treating old grey-market chatter as a current trading signal.

Company and offer context
Park Medi World operates a network of hospitals, where occupancy, patient mix, medical staff costs and capital spending affect outcomes. Corona Remedies works in branded pharmaceuticals, where manufacturing, compliance and product portfolios matter. ICICI Prudential AMC earns its fees from investment management, making assets under management and capital-market conditions especially relevant. Because these business models differ, the same GMP percentage would not imply comparable underlying risk.
IPO GMP versus the actual listing
An IPO grey market premium (GMP) is an unofficial quote before a stock lists. Quotes vary by market source and time, so a GMP cannot be treated as a guaranteed listing price. The comparison below uses reported exchange-opening prices where available, not unverified historical GMP numbers.
Park Medi World’s reported listing at ₹158.80 was ₹3.20 below its ₹162 issue price, approximately a 1.98% discount. In contrast, Corona Remedies’ reported opening premium was approximately 38.42% and ICICI Prudential AMC’s was approximately 20.09%. The contrast illustrates why neither a popular theme nor a subscription figure guarantees a positive debut. The December issues are now historical, so opening and closing dates should be read as archived facts, not application opportunities.
What investors should take away
Readers comparing archived IPOs should examine the company financial statements and use the original prospectus to understand where offer proceeds went. Mainboard IPO pricing is affected by demand, comparable-company valuations, broader market conditions and the share available for trading. Historical examples are educational comparisons, not a recipe for choosing the next issue.
A listing-day return is not the same as a holding-period return. Prices can change quickly after trading starts, and historical opening performance does not predict how a different offering will perform. Always read the prospectus and assess valuation separately from market sentiment.
